Context

What is GMA

In 2018, ABC's “Good Morning America” launched a new website, a slate of original content for digital and social platforms, and a daily newsletter in an effort to create new ways to connect with viewers online. The new website features entertainment, wellness, health, food, travel, and human interest stories.

Many people use to consume digital-only content, and because of that, the content became different. The new GMA website wasn't only a teaser for the TV show, it turned into something more fulfilling which was the right direction for the brand.

Goal

What We Accomplished

Since the GMA website was so new, they only had a simplified style guide to work from. Our goal was not only to create a more robust syle guide but take the next step and create a design system.

I was on the X-Brand Design team who is responsible for working on any design effort that spans multiple brands and products within Disney. The primary goals are to ensure design consistency across the Disney product portfolio and enhance the overall consumer experience.
